FISHING REPORT
Palm Coast Fishing Report October 31, 2025
The water has been super high and dirty since the beginning of September, but it’s finally starting to get back to normal with the cooler weather and west winds pushing water back out. The creek holes, and flats should start filling up with redfish and trout with cooler weather.
I like to free-line shrimp or use a ¼-ounce jig head with a live shrimp or mud minnow. Redfish are beginning to school up on the flats in the cleaner water—this is when I like to push-pole quietly and make stealthy casts with weightless jerkbaits or paddle tails. Lead the fish about two to three feet ahead and try not to cast directly on top of them, or you’ll risk spooking the school.
The sheepshead bite has been very strong lately. Fish docks, bridges, and the inlet using fiddler crabs, sand fleas, or shrimp on your favorite jig head or circle hook with a split shot.
Happy Halloween and tight lines!
